From d7067b2db78aab1a76f9c443b1fcf81c3e35dd50 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Trond Myklebust Date: Wed, 17 Jul 2013 17:09:01 -0400 Subject: NFSv4: encode_attrs should not backfill the bitmap and attribute length The attribute length is already calculated in advance. There is no reason why we cannot calculate the bitmap in advance too so that we don't have to play pointer games. It will attempt to negotiate SP4_MACH_CRED iff the EXCHANGE_ID is using krb5i or krb5p auth. SP4_MACH_CRED will be used if the server supports the minimal operations: BIND_CONN_TO_SESSION EXCHANGE_ID CREATE_SESSION DESTROY_SESSION DESTROY_CLIENTID This patch only includes the EXCHANGE_ID negotiation code because the client will already use the machine cred for these operations.
