2011-01-14mfd: ab8500-core chip version cut 2.0 supportMattias Wallin
This patch adds support for chip version 2.0 or cut 2.0. One new interrupt latch register - latch 12 - is introduced. Signed-off-by: Mattias Wallin <mattias.wallin@stericsson.com> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
2011-01-14mfd: ab8500-core ioresources irq for subdrivers addedMattias Wallin
This patch adds the ioresources used by subdrivers to retrieve their interrupt. Signed-off-by: Mattias Wallin <mattias.wallin@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
2011-01-12regulators: Moved define for number of regulators in ab8500Bengt Jonsson
The define for number of regulators is moved from ab8500-core to ab8500-regulator so that the regulator driver can be updated independently of ab8500-core. This also changes the platform configuration structure of ab8500-core so that it contains a pointer to the regulator_init_data array plus number of regulators instead of an fixed size array of pointers to regulator_init_data. 2010-10-29mfd: Align ab8500 with the abx500 interfaceMattias Wallin
This patch makes the ab8500 mixed signal chip expose the same interface for register access as the ab3100, ab3550 and ab5500 chip. The ab8500_read() and ab8500_write() is removed and replaced with abx500_get_register_interruptible() and abx500_set_register_interruptible(). 2010-05-28mfd: New AB8500 driverRabin Vincent
Add a new driver to support the AB8500 Power Management chip, replacing the current AB4500. The new driver replaces the old one, instead of an incremental modification, because this is a substantial overhaul including: - Split of the driver into -core and -spi portions, to allow another interface layer to be added - Addition of interrupt support - Switch to MFD core API for handling subdevices - Simplification of the APIs to remove a redundant block parameter - Rename of the APIs and macros from ab4500_* to ab8500_* - Rename of the files from ab4500* to ab8500* - Change of the driver name from ab4500 to ab8500 Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@stericsson.com> Acked-by: Srinidhi Kasagar <srinidhi.kasagar@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Rabin Vincent <rabin.vincent@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
