2010-12-22rtl818x: move rtl8180 and rtl8187 to separate subdirectoriesJohn W. Linville
These drivers share one header file, but nothing else. Worse, both drivers use the rtl8225 part with different register settings. The results has been some ugly naming -- let's simplify that. 2009-12-10rtl8187: add radio led and fix warnings on suspendHerton Ronaldo Krzesinski
Michael Buesch reports that his rtl8187 gives warnings on suspend ("queueing ieee80211 work while going to suspend" warnings), as rtl8187 can call ieee80211_queue_delayed_work after mac80211 is suspended. This change enhances rtl8187 led code so we can avoid queuing work after mac80211 is suspended: now we register a radio led and make additional checks to ensure led is off/on properly as mac80211 wants. 2009-04-22rtl8187: Implement TX/RX blink for LEDLarry Finger
The following patch implements some control over the LED on RTL8187B and RTL8187L devices. Triggers are registered for TX and RX. Whenever the trigger event occurs, the LED is turned off for 1/20 second, then turned back on. Note: For those RTL8187X devices that are built into the computer and have a LED that is expected to be controlled with a radio switch, this patch will not operate that LED. That will take a separate patch to be prepared later.
